Design Philosophy
Most note-taking apps optimize for permanence. The Void optimizes for impermanence — the freedom to capture a fleeting thought without the anxiety of it being stored, synced, or searchable forever.
Technical Approach
All recordings stored in encrypted local storage on the device. Countdown timer triggers permanent deletion — no recovery, no trash folder. No network calls, no analytics, no user accounts. Privacy isn't a feature, it's the architecture.
